Boise Children's Photographer | Back to Basics

Okay almost a year ago we took a photography class from Laura Sibert in Denver Colorado and although we learned a lot, it seems as though we need to get back to the basics.  Along with learning how to take pictures of children and how to get them to smile and pose for the camera, we also learned about finding correct light in photography and making images look consistent.  However one of the most difficult facets of photography is finding one's photographic style and staying consistent.  As I look back on the year, I went from soft and basic light to high constrasted and harsh images.  Although High contrast and color is a popular style, I think I am going back to the style Maria and I first fell in love with it.  Here are a cople of pictures a I just finished working with and although they are not as contrasty as others I have done recently, I like them a lot better and I think I am going to move back in this direction--especially as Maria and I try to enter the Boise, Eagle, Meridian and Nampa markets.
